Ayesha Pearce is a self-taught artist based in Bristol, UK. Working in oil on canvas and wood, she paints bold pieces that float between abstract and figurative.

Transitioning from graphic design in 2019 to pursue a tactile medium, Pearce fell under the spell of oils after a background in printmaking. Today, she captures moments and objects from daily life, finding inspiration in the small and insignificant.

Her process centres on stripping subjects down to their essentials to find the sweet spot between simplicity and clarity. Pushing forms to the edge of abstraction—barely there, but not entirely gone—she uses colour to create intuitive geometries that hum with a dreamlike tension.
